Abstract:
This press-fit terminal is provided with: a contact portion that contacts an inner wall of a through-hole provided in a substrate; a tip-end portion disposed on a tip-end side, with respect to the contact portion, in a direction of insertion into the through-hole; a base portion disposed on the opposite side to the tip-end portion across the contact portion; a penetrating-hole provided along the base portion, the contact portion, and the tip-end portion; and a first inclined portion provided along the contact portion and the tip-end portion and disposed continuously around the periphery of the penetrating-hole. The first inclined portion is inclined toward the penetrating-hole. The length of at least a part of the first inclined portion in a width direction perpendicular to the inserting direction and a penetrating-direction is increased toward the tip of the tip-end portion.
