Abstract:
A press-formed body having a number of linear recessed parts formed in portions where a bending deformation or a unbending deformation is given at the time of press-forming, for example, in the side wall parts (31) of a formed body, characterized in that, where an interval between the linear recessed parts is P mm, the depth thereof is D mm, and the plate thickness of the press-formed body is t mm, D/P ≥ 0.03 x t/1.2 and 0.02t < D ≤ 0.5t hold true; a press-forming method, characterized by comprising the steps of forming linear projected parts (10) on formed surfaces (8) of a metal mold (3), and allowing the tip parts of the linear projected parts to bite in a material at the time of press forming so as to press the linear recessed parts against the portion where the bending deformation or unbending deformation is given in order to provide a shape correcting effect together with a shape forming, whereby the press-formed body and the press-forming method capable of providing an excellent formed shape and being formed by a normal press.
