Abstract:
Intended is to reduce the size of a power source device of a press machine system drastically without providing a capacitor or a coil. A press machine system (10a, 10b) comprises a plurality of press machines (3a, 3b, 3c), and a power source device (5) for feeding an electric power to the press machines. The press machine (3a) includes a drive motor (8a) for pressing a workpiece (2), a conversion mechanism (9a) for converting the rotating motions of the drive motor into reciprocating motions, and a slide (11a) connected to the conversion mechanism for reciprocating motions, and having a mold (12a) fixed thereon. In each press machine, the period for the slide to make one reciprocation contains a press period, for which the workpiece is pressed. The press machine system further comprises an action control device (7a, 7b) for controlling the feed power from the power source device (5) to each drive motor thereby to activate the press machines, so that the press period may not overlap between the press machines.
