Abstract:
A press machine, wherein, without additional cost and without complexity of the configuration of the press machine, a frame is prevented from being deformed by heat created by the drive source of a press drive mechanism. A press drive mechanism (8) is provided with a ram lifting mechanism section (8a) for lifting and lowering a ram (7) by converting the motion of a longitudinally advancing and retracting member (25) of an upper horizontal frame section (1b) of a press frame (1) into vertical motion, and also with a drive source unit (29) having a drive source (33) for advancing and retracting the advancing and retracting member (25). A bridge member (35) is bridged between both left and right side sections (1ba, 1bb) of the upper horizontal frame section (1b), a support member (37) is provided at a position near the center of the bridge member (35) relative to the left-right direction, and a drive source unit (29) is supported by the support member (37).
