Abstract:
In the present invention a calculation device 14 calculates, on the basis of a feed amount Y that has been set in the calculation device 14, a feed time T for one cycle in which a feeding device FD feeds a metal material WS as a workpiece W between an upper die 3a and a lower die 3b of a press machine S. When the feed time T exceeds an interference check time T' required for rotation of a crankshaft 8 from a feeding start position P3 of the metal material WS to an interference check position P4, the calculation device 14 carries out a speed reduction control for the rotation speed of the crankshaft 8 in a non-pressing region NPA. In this speed reduction control the calculation device 14 sets an operation magnification ratio R of the rotation operation of the crankshaft 8 in the non-pressing region NPA to an appropriate value that is less than 100%, so that the feed time T is not more than the interference check time T'.
