Abstract:
Provided is a useful method for, without causing defects such as hardness unevenness, producing a press-molded article, which has a moldability that is favorable to an extent that deep drawing processing is possible, by means of heating a thin steel sheet to a temperature that is at least the Ac3 transformation point, then while cooling at a rate that is at least the critical cooling rate, starting molding from a temperature that is higher than the martensite transformation start temperature (Ms), and while maintaining a cooling rate that is at least 10°C/second during molding, finishing molding in a temperature region that is no greater than the martensite transformation start temperature (Ms).
