Abstract:
Provided is a method of molding a pressed component (1) formed such that an end is substantially T-shaped in a front view and is constituted by a columnar part (2) and an protruding part (3) that protrudes to a large width from an end of the columnar part (2), the columnar part (2) being formed to have a substantially hat-shaped cross section and both longitudinal ends of the protruding part (3) being formed to have a substantially crank-shaped cross section. The molding method includes a first molding step for preliminarily molding a first molded article (W) from a blank material (5) and a second molding step for molding the first molded article (W) into a pressed component shape having a large depth. In the second molding step, top parts (2a, 3a) of the columnar part (2) and the protruding part (3) are pressed and constrained by a punch (15) and a pad (14) and then bending processing is performed by the punch (15) and a die (13) to form vertical wall parts (2b, 3b) and flange parts (2d, 2e, 3c) of the columnar part (2) and the protruding part (3). A bead part (16) is molded at a terminal of the top part (3a) when the top parts (2a, 3a) of the protruding part (3) are pressed and constrained.
