Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pressed flower ornament and to a method for manufacturing same, and more particularly, to a pressed flower ornament and to a method for manufacturing same in which two polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plates facing each other are heated, pressed, and bonded together without using an additional adhesive for attaching a pressed natural flower or plant material, a pressed natural flower or plant material is interposed between the two bonded PET plates, and a background picture drawn with a transfer paint permeates and is expressed on the surface of at least one of the two PET plates. The method comprises: a step (S1) of drawing a picture on a transfer sheet (100) using a transfer paint (110); a step (S2) of putting the transfer sheet (100) onto a PET plate (200a), and thermally transferring the picture onto the PET plate (200a) at a temperature of 120 to 250°C using a heat plate (400b) such that the paint of the picture can permeate and be expressed on the PET plate (200a); a step (S3) of arranging a pressed natural flower or plant material (500) on the PET plate (200a), and covering the pressed natural flower or plant material (500) using the other PET plate (200b); and a step (S4) of interposing the two PET plates (200a, 200b) between two heat plates (400a, 400b) and pressing the PET plates (200a, 200b) together while applying heat of a temperature of 110 to 200°C, such that the PET plates (200a, 200b) can be bonded together. The pressed flower ornament of the present invention eliminates the necessity of using an additional adhesive for attaching the pressed natural flower or plant material onto the PET plate, and interposes the pressed natural flower or plant material between the two PET plates such that the two PET plates can be pressed and bonded together, thereby simplifying manufacturing processes and improving the degree of completion of products. Further, the pressed flower ornament of the present invention achieves an aesthetic enhancement in the outer appearance thereof, as the background picture as well as the pressed natural flower or plant material permeates and is expressed on at least one of the two PET plates.
