Abstract:
A disclosed pressing apparatus for a secondary battery sealing process comprises: a pressing part applying a linear reciprocating motion; a pressure driving bar provided on an end of the pressing part; a plurality of expansion blocks disposed away from one another in the length direction of the pressure driving bar; a sealing bar provided opposite from the pressure driving bar with respect to the plurality of expansion blocks, equipped with a sealing heater therein and having a pressing surface coming into contact with a pouch foil which is to be sealed; a sensor provided on the sealing bar and for sensing the displacement or pressing force of the pressing surface in accordance with the position; and a control part for controlling the expansion rate of each of the plurality of expansion blocks on the basis of the displacement or pressing force sensed by means of the sensor.
