Abstract:
A pressing device for bending operation is configured such that, to bend a pipe, the pipe is held between a bending die having a shape corresponding to the shape of bending and a clamping die capable of revolving around the bending die and, when the pipe is bent by revolving the clamping die around the bending die, an axial compression force is applied to the pipe. The pressing device for bending operation is provided with a movable table provided so as to be movable in the direction of the axis of the pipe, a first cylinder provided to the movable table and capable of pressing the rear end of the pipe, and a second cylinder provided to the movable table and capable of pressing the fixed side of the pipe in the direction opposite the direction in which the first cylinder presses the pipe.
