Abstract:
A pressing machine (10) having a drive motor (3) for performing pressing, a first conversion mechanism (5) for converting rotational motion of the drive motor (3) into reciprocation motion, a slider (7) connected for reciprocating motion to the first conversion mechanism (5), a die cushion (8a, 8b) moved by receiving a load from a die (9) attached to the slider (7) with a workpiece (1) sandwiched between the die cushion and the die (9), an energy conversion device (21a, 21b, 31a, 31b) movably supporting the die cushion (8a, 8b) and generating electric power by effect of the load, and an electric power line (12) for supplying the electric power to the drive motor (3).
