Abstract:
Provided is a pressing machine for conveying and pressing a workpiece. A drive part drives a slide that ascends and descends when a workpiece is pressed. A detection part detects position information about the slide. A speed control part controls the speed of the slide through the drive part on the basis of motion information stipulating the action of the slide. A stop determination calculation part sets a deceleration starting point for starting slide deceleration on the basis of the motion information and a set point where the slide will be forcibly stopped. The speed control part assesses, on the basis of the position information about the slide as detected by the detection part, whether or not an abnormality signal pertaining to the conveying of the workpiece has been inputted when the slide has reached the deceleration starting point, and performs a deceleration control on the slide so that the slide stops at the set point when an abnormality signal is assessed to have been inputted.
