The invention concern an instrument utilizable in combination with seat of sanitary pots to compress the rectum-intestine during the act of intestine-evacuation, with purpose of faci- litate the opening of anus.
At present seats and pots for intestine evacuation offered by the market do not hold any device for compression of rectum, nor the exsistence of instruments combinable with seats of sa nitary pot for said compression results to inventor.
Sometime it happens to some people sitting for intestinal eya cuation that the abdominal contraction, for various reasons, does not cause the immediate opening of anus; in these cases the push outward of faecal mass present in rectum becomes ex¬ hausted in the stretching of perineum-tissues, which swell outward like ball. Abdominal contraction remains so without useful effect, and musts to be repeated. Sometime repetition produces the opening of anus, but at cost of painful efforts and sometime also of acute pain; sometime the person must re nounce the evacuation. The usual helps in these cases are the introduction of liquids into intestine or the forced ope¬ ning of anus with the fingers in case of big and hard faeces. It is an efficacious help, but unknown or almost, the method of compressing rectum while it swells outward, pushing with a hand on the perineum-tissues included among buttocks, anus and coccix, and pushing them on high towards the internal si¬ de of coccix. By this method the pression of faecal mass on anus become stronger, the retroanal tissues are drawn back and the internal form of rectum changes, obtaining so more ra pid opening of anus.
But this manual action is not the ideal solution, because the practice execution iε always little facile, and difficult or impossible for people with not strong hands and/or with
difficulty to bring a hand behind his back as far as the anus, as, for example, the obeses.
The invention solves the problems by replacing: -a- the hand with a solid matter-volume; -b- the movement of hand with the one of pelvis; -c- the strength of hand with the body-weight, or also with the strength of legs. The compression of rectum results so practicable by every phisical structure. The invention consists in this following instrumental method able to facilitate the opening of anus of person sitting upon sanitary pot to perform the intestinal evacuation: the person, at the moment of the evacuation-effort, moves downwards, or also from front to back, the pelvis and uses the body-weight, or also the strength of legs, to press the pelvic zone included among buttocks anus and coccix on the convex side of a semispheroid connected with the seat of the sanitary pot(Fig3)
The instrument invented to carrying out the said compression consists in a semispheroidal volume of solid matter so characterized: -a- Utilizable in combination with seat of sanitary pots.
-b- Roundish convex form(Fig1 ,Fig2(1 ) ) and dimensions like a half egg of hen; in other words, anatomic form and dimensions able to founder in the pelvic fossa included among the two ischiatic bones and the coccix grazing these bones. -c- connected with the seat in point(Fig2(1 ) ) of seat-area immediately near and in front of the point destined to said pelvic zone.
-d- usable bringing the said pelvic zone(6) to tally with the convex upper side(4) (after named "dome"); keeping the under side in contrast with the seat (directly or by means of con¬ nection-support); and pushing then the said pelvic zone in opposition to the dome.
U T I L I T Y S : —a- Every phisical structure can realize the compression, -b- For every body: more rapid opening of the anus and more rapid evacuation, with saving of time and useless efforts. -c- For suffering ones from anal affections, as inflammation, interior swellings, hemorrhoids and rhagades (when the affec¬ tion permits the compression): opening of anus and faecal ex¬ pulsion more easy and rapid, which bring less pain and the possibility of daily evacuations, with every consequent phi- siologic and psychological benefit.
-d- For suffering ones from varices of legs: it is minimized as possible the blood-push on already enervated veins (the blood-push is given by the abdominal contractions).
Fig. 1 shows an example of pressor semispheroid in the mean section fore-back.
Fig..2 shows an example of combination with seat for- sanitary pots. The pressor(l) is placeα" in centre of internal border of the posterior side(2); it Juts cantilevered from this bor- der forming two coves(3) able to receive the ischiatic bones. Fig. 3 shows the posterior side(2) bending downwards(2) to form a concavity so that the apex of dome (4) is near to supe_ rior plane(5) of seat. Stylized body shows the way to appr£ ach pelvic zone(6) anus(7) and coccix(8) to domed).
The best mode for carrying out the invention consist in a seat bringing the pressor-volume as own shape, as showed by Fig.2 and Fig.3 of drawing.
