Abstract:
Provided is a highly reliable pressure detection element suitable for use in a location indicator, with improved on-load characteristics, response characteristics, and hysteresis characteristics. This invention has a configuration where a conductor layer (834) is provided to one surface of a dielectric (831), an electroconductive elastic member (833) is provided to another surface side with a spacer (832) therebetween so that the electroconductive elastic member (833) can be pushed into the dielectric (831) side by a pressing member (7). An end surface (7b) of the pressing member (7) pressing the electroconductive elastic member (833) is configured as an even surface that has been rounded at a predetermined curvature with the center thereof as the apex. A projection (7c) is provided to the apex of the end surface (7b).
