Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pressure reducing valve which is installed on a pressure reducing line of an engine generator for a ship, and in which a strainer, a relief valve, a pressure gauge and an exhaust valve are integrated into the pressure reducing valve to form a unit and to reduce costs and improve management efficiency, and in which the weights of devices related to the pressure reducing valve are reduced and the space occupied by the pressure reducing valve is minimized, and which enables easy assembly. The present invention provides a pressure reducing valve (1) comprising: a membrane-type cylindrical strainer (4) interposed between a fluid inlet hole (3) formed at one side of a body (2) of the pressure reducing valve (1) and an open/shut hole (7); a pilot valve (10) mounted on the body (2) to set a discharge pressure value by an adjustment knob (13) through a pilot pipe (12) communicating with one side of the fluid inlet hole (3); a diaphragm chamber (14) formed in an upper portion of the body (2) to communicate pressure through the pilot valve (10); a diaphragm (11) installed within the diaphragm chamber (14); a piston (9) arranged in a vertical direction such that the piston (9) contacts a lower portion of the diaphragm (11); a disk (6) connected to a lower portion of the piston (9) and resiliently installed by means of a spring (8) to enable/shut off the flow of fluid from the fluid inlet hole (3) to a discharge hole (5); a relief valve (15) installed on the contact portion between the diaphragm (11) and an upper portion of the piston (9); a pressure gauge (16) installed in the discharge hole (5) to check the pressure of the fluid being discharged; and a residual water drain valve (17) installed at a lower end of the body (2).
