Provided is a pressure-reducing valve capable of suppressing deformation of a pressure-reducing piston or valve seat portion caused by excessive application of pressure, and which is superior in reliability and durability. A pressure-reducing valve (1) is provided with a housing (2), wherein the housing (2) has a valve passage (18) connected to a primary port (14) and a secondary port (15), and a projection piece (25). In addition, within the housing (2), a pressure-reducing piston (3) and a drive piston (4) are disposed. The pressure-reducing piston (3) is set to move between a closed position of sitting upon the projection piece (25) of the housing (2) so as to close the valve passage (18), and an open position which opens the valve passage (18). The drive piston (4) is disposed away from the pressure-reducing piston (3) so as to receive the pressure of a secondary pressure (P2) which is directed toward the pressure-reducing piston (3) in reaction to the biasing force caused by the second spring member (8). Furthermore, between the drive piston (4) and the pressure-reducing piston (3), an elastically deformable dampening spring (10) is disposed such that by way of the dampening spring (10), the secondary pressure received by the drive piston (4) is conveyed as a pressing force to the pressure-reducing piston (3).
