Abstract:
A pressure regulating valve (11) comprising: a valve main body (12) having a valve chamber (13) that communicates with a refrigerant inflow passage (14) and a refrigerant outflow passage (15); a valve body (17) that changes the flow rate of a refrigerant by advancing to and retreating from a valve seat (16) formed in the valve chamber (13) between a closed state of being seated on the valve seat (16) and an open state of being spaced apart from the valve seat (16); a pressure-sensitive member (21) which biases the valve body (17) toward the valve seat (16) and which expands and contracts according to a pressure received by the valve body (17) from the refrigerant flowing in from the inflow passage (14) to thereby allow the advancement and retreat of the valve body (17); an adjustment means (24) for adjusting a biasing force applied by the pressure-sensitive member (21) to the valve body (17); and an actuator (such as stepper motor) (40) that drives the adjustment means (24). It is preferred for the adjustment means (24) to comprise a stopper member (29) that can stop the movement of an adjustment member caused by the actuator (40) and can serve as a start point for setting the biasing force.
