This pressure regulation value control device is provided with: a line pressure regulation valve (4) including a line pressure solenoid (41) and a line pressure spool valve (42); and a CVT control unit (8) which controls secondary pressure (Psec) by operating the line pressure spool valve (42) at solenoid pressure (Psol) created by controlling an electric current instructed value (I) for the line pressure solenoid (41). The CVT control unit (8) includes an abnormal-situation control unit (81). When a decrease in the secondary pressure (Psec) is detected while traveling, the abnormal-situation control unit (81) performs, while traveling, an abnormal-situation control so as to increase the solenoid pressure (Psol) applied from the line pressure solenoid (41) to the line pressure spool valve (42) to be higher than the solenoid pressure (Psol) when the decrease in the secondary pressure (Psec) has been detected. Thus, even when a decrease in hydraulic pressure is detected while traveling, the decrease in hydraulic pressure can be suppressed while traveling and at the same time reducing the degree of influence to the traveling.
