Abstract:

A pressure regulator valve (22) comprises: a valve body (72); a valve seat (74); a spring (68) that biases the valve body (72) to the valve seat (74); a housing (46) that stores the valve body (72), the valve seat (74), and the spring (68); and a plug cover member (56) that holds the valve body (72), the valve seat (74), and the spring (68) in the housing (46). The housing (46) is cylindrical in shape, and has a first end portion with an insertion hole, and a second end portion located axially opposite the first end portion. The plug cover member (56) is cylindrical in shape, and has an open end, and a closed end located axially opposite the open end. The plug cover member (56) is pressed into the housing (46) from the open end through the insertion hole. The housing (46) has an expanded diameter portion (66) with a diameter gradually expanding toward the insertion hole at the first end portion.
