Abstract:
Provided in embodiments of the present application are a pressure relief apparatus, a battery cell, a battery and an electrical device, which relate to the technical field of batteries. The pressure relief apparatus comprises a pressure relief body and a notch groove. The pressure relief body comprises a pressure relief portion, which is configured to be opened when the internal pressure or the temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, such that the pressure inside the battery cell is released. A first opening side is formed on one side of the pressure relief portion in a first direction, and a second opening side and a third opening side are respectively formed on two sides of the pressure relief portion in a second direction, the first direction being perpendicular to the second direction. The notch groove is arranged in the pressure relief body and defines the pressure relief portion. The notch groove comprises a first arcuate groove and a second arcuate groove. The first arcuate groove extends from the first opening side to the second opening side, and the second arcuate groove extends from the first opening side to the third opening side. The arcuate design of the first arcuate groove and the second arcuate groove is such that situations in which the pressure relief portion cannot be opened over a large area do not easily occur, thereby improving the safety of the battery cell.
