Abstract:
The present application discloses a pressure relief mechanism, a battery, an apparatus, and a manufacturing method and device for a battery. The pressure relief mechanism comprises a base, a cover assembly, and a limiting member. The base is provided with an air discharging port. The cover assembly is configured to close or open the air discharging port. The limiting member is snap-fitted to the cover assembly, and the limiting member comprises a first elastic member and a first limiting portion. The first limiting portion is configured to: when the cover assembly closes the air discharging port, limit the movement of the limiting member relative to the base. When the pressure in a box body rises, the limiting member moves along the opening direction of the cover assembly to enable the first limiting portion to be separated from positional limitation of the base, so that the limiting member can rotate relative to the cover assembly under the action of the restoring force of the first elastic member to enable the first limiting portion to abut against an end surface of the base, so as to maintain the cover assembly in a state of opening the air discharging port. In the embodiments of the present application, rapid pressure relief in the box body can be realized, so that the air pressure inside and outside the box body is maintained consistent.
