Abstract:
A purpose of the present invention is to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition capable of forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer which is less apt to have failures regarding transparency, appearance, or durability, exhibits a low surface resistivity, and has excellent antistatic performance. This pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises: an antistatic agent; and a mixture of monomers for constituting an acrylic polymer (A), a partial polymer of a mixture of monomers for constituting the acrylic polymer (A), or the acrylic polymer (A). The antistatic agent is characterized by being an ionic compound having, in the molecule, a functional group capable of forming a covalent bond with the acrylic polymer (A).
