Abstract:
A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet comprising a surface base material and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing a copolymer comprising (a) 5 to 40 wt.% of at least one member selected from among carboxylic modified rosin ester monomers and rosin ester monomers, (b) 5 to 40 wt.% of a (poly)ethylene glycol (meth)-acrylate monomer, (c) 30 to 60 wt.% of a C4-C18 alkyl ester of (meth)acrylic acid, and, if necessary, (d) at most 20 wt.% of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylated monomer, and (e) at most 20 wt.% of other comonomer copolymerizable with the above monomers (a), (b), (c) and (d). When the pressure-sensitive adhesive contains the above component (d) and a crosslinking agent, the resulting sheet is re-releasable. The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet can be easily macerated to give reclaimed pulp without suffering any adverse effect due to the pressure-sensitive adhesive.
