Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape which is inhibited from delaminating, has improved hand tearability, and has improved force of bonding between a lamination layer and base fabric and to which stiffness/firmness has been imparted.
The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprises base fabric composed of warp yarns and weft yarns, one or more lamination layers disposed over one surface of the base fabric, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer disposed on the other surface of the base fabric, wherein (A) the lamination layers are constituted of a thermoplastic resin including polyethylene, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is constituted of a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising natural rubber or a synthetic rubber as a main component, and the warp yarns are wooly polyester yarns or wherein (B) the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is constituted of a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive comprising natural rubber, a synthetic rubber, or a mixture of natural rubber and a synthetic rubber as a main component and the lamination layers comprise a first lamination layer and a second lamination layer in this order from the base fabric side, the first lamination layer comprising low-density polyethylene and either an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer or an ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer, and the second lamination layer comprising low-density polyethylene and high-density polyethylene.
