Abstract:
Disclosed is a pressure sensor-based method for volume control, comprising: receiving information of a press operation of a user detected by pressure sensors and parsing an operating pressure value of the user on the pressure sensors, where the pressure sensors comprise: a volume increase pressure sensor and a volume decrease pressure sensor; when a non-pocket operating mode is detected and determined and the press operation of the user is of a press type, comparing the difference between the operating pressure detected by the volume increase pressure sensor and that by the volume decrease pressure sensor and a press threshold, and controlling the adjustment of volume level on the basis of the comparison result; when the non-pocket operating mode is detected and determined and the press operation of the user is a spiral type, successively capturing operating pressure values on the pressure sensors during a preset capturing interval, comparing a subsequent operating pressure value with a preceding operating pressure value that are captured successively, and controlling the adjustment of volume level on the basis of the comparison result. The present invention increases the service life and safety of volume buttons.
