Abstract:
A pressure sensor 1A comprises: a connecting section 2 provided with a screw section 2a for securing the pressure sensor 1A to a combustion chamber of a vehicle engine; a hollow liquid sealing container 3 secured to one end of the connecting section 2; a pressure transmission liquid 6 sealed into the interior of the liquid sealing container 3; a diaphragm 4 which is secured to one end of the liquid sealing container 3 and which elastically deforms when receiving pressure and transmits the pressure to the pressure transmission liquid 6; a pressure detection element 5 which is secured to the other end of the liquid sealing container 3 and which detects pressure transmitted to the pressure transmission liquid 6 and converts the pressure to an electrical signal; and a heat dissipation rod 7 disposed in the interior of the liquid sealing container 3. The connecting section 2 and the liquid sealing container 3 are mechanically connected to each other by welding or the like, and so are the connecting section 2 and the diaphragm 4.
