Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pressure sensor which uses a pressure sensing element under the cover of a waterproof case or the like, and which is capable of satisfying requirements for outdoor waterproof performance such as PCT test. A pressure sensor (100) according to the present invention is provided with: a pressure sensing element (126) which senses the pressure of a fluid; a plurality of electric wires (133) which are connected to the pressure sensing element (126) and are led out to the outside; a waterproof case (141) which internally contains the pressure sensing element (126) and the plurality of electric wires (133); and a sealing agent (143) which is filled into an inner peripheral part of the waterproof case (141). This pressure sensor (100) is characterized by being additionally provided with a coating agent (144) which covers the outer peripheral surface of this pressure sensor (100) and has a lower water vapor transmission rate than either the waterproof case (141) or the sealing agent (143).
