Abstract:
This pressure sensor for detecting combustion pressure of an engine is provided with: a contact section that is directly or indirectly in contact with a housing of the engine when the pressure sensor is attached to the engine; and a pressure detection section, which detects the combustion pressure, and outputs a signal corresponding to the pressure. The pressure detection section has: a pressure detection element, which detects the combustion pressure, and outputs a signal; and a circuit section that converts the signal obtained from the pressure detection element into a signal corresponding to the pressure. When the pressure sensor is attached to the engine, the pressure detection section is provided at an area positioned further toward the inner side of the engine than the contact section.
