Abstract:
A pressure switch for a hydraulic pump which is reduced in cost and is easily assembled. An oil pressure introducing hole (20) for introducing a discharge oil pressure into a recess (10) made in a body (1) for electrically connected to the ground is provided. A plug (2) insulatingly supports a conductive terminal (3) so as to close the recess (10) and has a cylindrical section (41) open toward the recess (10). The lower end of a conductive sleeve (15) having a damping orifice (15a) communicating with the hole (20) is fitted in the recess (10). A conductive plunger (14) which can be brought into contact with and separated from the terminal (31) which responds to the oil pressure from the orifice (15a) is housed in the sleeve (15). A spring (9) which biases the plunger (14) against the hydraulic pressure is housed in the cylindrical section (41) of the plug (2).
