Abstract:

A pressure switch (11) for detecting the pressure of fluid relative to the operating pressure which is set by the pressing force of a coiled spring (26), the pressure switch (11) detecting the fluid pressure by detecting that a piston (21) is at a pressure detection position, the piston (21) being adapted to be moved backward by the pressure of the fluid which flows into a pressure chamber (23), wherein a pressing member (25) for setting the pressing force of the coiled spring (26) is movably contained within a case (12). A pressure display wall (17) having a window (31) is formed on the case (12), and the value of an operating pressure displayed by a display section (25a) of the pressing member (25) can be checked by viewing the display section (25a) through the window. An adjustment member (33) provided with a driving-side sloped surface (33a) which is in sliding contact with a driven-side sloped surface (25c) formed on the pressing member (25) is movably contained within the case (12). The value of the operating pressure of the pressure switch (11) is adjusted by moving the pressing member (25) by a screw member (34) through the adjustment member (33), said screw member (34) being provided to the pressure display wall (17).
