Abstract:
A pressure switch is provided with which, even when a diaphragm is used that does not cause reverse operation, it is possible to increase the amount of displacement, reduce the on-off difference, and increase the precision of the pressure value during switching, and for which lifetime can be increased. A pressure switch (1) comprises: a diaphragm (44) that partitions a low-pressure chamber (2A) and a high-pressure chamber (2B); an operation member (5) that moves accompanying the displacement of the diaphragm (44); a switching means (33) that switches a switch accompanying the movement of the operation member (5); and a coil spring (7) that applies an initial-period compression force to the diaphragm (44). The diaphragm (44) has a dome-shaped projecting part (44a) that projects toward the low-pressure chamber (2A), and the operation member (5) contacts the projecting part (44a) from the low-pressure chamber (2A) side and is provided so as to be able to move following the displacement of the diaphragm (44). The projecting part (44a) maintains the form of projecting toward the low-pressure chamber (2A) side in the state of initial compression biased by the coil spring (7).
