Abstract:
Provided is a gas separation method that can achieve a balance between removal performance with respect to a gas component to be removed and the recovery rate of a gas component to be recovered, and that can improve production efficiency of a product gas. A raw material gas g0 is supplied to one adsorption tank 11 of an adsorption means 10 to cause emission of a permeable gas g1. The pressure of the other adsorption tank 12 is lowered as compared to that at the time of adsorption to cause emission of a desorption gas g2. Depending on the operation cycle of the adsorption means 10, the state of the raw material gas g0, or the like, either the permeable gas g1 or the desorption gas g2, whichever has the concentration of a gas component to be removed preferentially lower than the raw material gas g0, is set as a return gas to the adsorption means 10.
