Abstract:
This pressurizing system (1) is provided with: multiple-stage compressors (2) which compress carbon dioxide (F) to a target pressure higher than the critical pressure of carbon dioxide; intermediate coolers (4) which are provided between the stages of the multiple-stage compressors (2) and cool the carbon dioxide (F) discharged from the compressor (2) of the previous stage; a sub cooler (5) which cools the carbon dioxide (F) between the compressor (17) of a seventh stage which is the final stage and the compressor (16) of a sixth-stage which is the stage preceding the seventh stage; a bypass line (6) which is connected to the inlet of the seventh-stage compressor (17), extracts and thereby depressurizes the carbon dioxide (F) at the inlet of the seventh-stage compressor (17), and supplies the carbon dioxide (F) to the sub cooler (5) as a refrigerant; a flow rate control valve (7) provided in the bypass line (6); and a control unit (8) which adjusts the opening degree of the flow rate control valve (7) such that at least one among the temperature and pressure of the carbon dioxide (F) is maintained constant at the inlet of the seventh-stage compressor (17).
