Abstract:
A prestressed concrete pipe unit with a steel socket and a steel spigot includes a
concrete core; a prestressed steel wire is wound around the outer wall of the concrete
core; a protective layer is provided outside of the prestressed steel wire; the
front end of the concrete core is provided with a spigot and the back end of the concrete
core is provided with a socket so as to connect more than one pipe units end to end;
a cylindrical cage of reinforcing steel bars is provided coaxially in the concrete
core, and the two ends of the cylindrical cage of reinforcing steel bars connect
with the spigot and the socket, respectively. More than one pipe units connect
by joining the spigots with the sockets end to end, thus forming a concrete pipe.
