Abstract:

A pretreatment method for cell migration which is to be performed prior to picking target cells, from a mass containing a plurality of cells of different sizes, with the use of a cell migration device provided with a cell picking means and then migrating the target cells to a definite destination, said pretreatment method comprising: a classification step for classifying the target cells, from among the plurality of cells contained in the mass, into at least two groups depending on size; and a supply step for supplying the thus classified cells, in the state of being individually classified, to a position where picking can be conducted by the picking means.
