Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a solid catalyst activating method for preparing a fatty acid methyl ester, comprising dipping, in a pretreatment solution containing the fatty acid-containing fat and oil, a solid catalyst to be used in the preparation of a fatty acid methyl ester from fatty acid-containing fat and oil; and a fatty acid methyl ester preparation method comprising obtaining a fatty acid methyl ester through a batch process by using the solid catalyst activated by the method.
