A compound usable as a preventive or therapeutic agent for urination disorders. It is a compound represented by the following general formula (1), a pharmacologically acceptable salt of the compound, or a hydrate or solvate of either. Also provided are a process for producing the compound and a medicinal composition characterized by containing the compound. The compound has a high affinity especially for the a_1A-adrenergic receptor subtype among the a_1A-, a_1B-, and a_1D-adrenergic receptor subtypes, which are human a₁-adrenergic receptors. It can hence be an excellent therapeutic and/or preventive agent for urination disorders. (1) (In the formula, R represents lower alkyl optionally having halogeno, cyano, or aryl.)
