Abstract:
A primary color conversion method and a converter therefor, a display control method and a display device. The primary color conversion method comprises: acquiring, in a first color gamut having M primary colors, color coordinates and a brightness value of a first color in the first color gamut according to grayscale values of the M primary colors corresponding to the first color (S101); and mapping, in a second color gamut having N primary colors, color coordinates and a brightness value of a second color in the second color gamut which corresponds to the first color according to the color coordinates and brightness value of the first color in the first color gamut (S102), wherein 3≤M, 3≤N, M is different from N, and M and N are positive integers.
