Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a primer composition which exhibits excellent adhesion both to a substrate film and to a coating layer, particularly to a polyester film and to a prism layer obtained by curing a solvent-free active energy ray-curable resin composition, wherein the primer composition, in the form of an aqueous solution, also exhibits excellent stability. The primer composition includes a polyester resin obtained by the copolymerization of copolymerization components including a polycarboxylic acid component (A) and a polyol component (B), wherein the polyester resin has, with respect to the whole polyol component (B), an inclusion ratio of straight-chain polyols (b1), other than ethylene glycol, of at least 70 mol%, and an acid value of at least 10mg KOH/g.
