Abstract:
A primer composition for fluororubber compositions which comprises 100 parts by weight, on a solid basis, of an organosilane polymer having repeating units derived from an alkoxysilane monomer in the molecular chain and 0.001 to 15 parts by weight of an organic titanate compound. When used in coating a nontacky base, especially a silicone rubber, with a vulcanized fluororubber layer, the primer composition can improve the adhesion between the fluororubber layer and the silicone rubber surface especially at high temperatures.
