Title:
PRIMER SET, PROBE, KIT, AND METHOD FOR DETECTING MYCOBACTERIUM KANSASII
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/135560
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a novel means for species-specifically detecting M. kansasii. This primer set includes: a first primer that includes a polynucleotide including at the 3' end a base sequence A' identical or homologous to a base sequence A that is a partial base sequence of the 5' end of a target region including all or part of a first base sequence shown by SEQ ID NOS: 1, 9, 11, 13, 15, 2, 10, 12, 14, or 16 in the genomic DNA of Mycobacterium kansasii or a second base sequence complementary to the first base sequence; and a second primer that includes a polynucleotide including at the 3' end a base sequence B' identical or homologous to a complementary base sequence of a base sequence B that is a partial base sequence at the 3' end of the target region.
