Abstract:
On receiving a print start command from a computer (27), a print start temperature judging section (45a) of an error judging unit (45) compares the temperature of a thermal head (15) with a resumption temperature. If the temperature of the thermal head (15) is the resumption temperature or less, a printer starts printing. In contrast, if it is above the resumption temperature, print start is inhibited. A printing temperature judging section (45b) of the error judging unit (45) compares the temperature of the thermal head (15) with an upper-limit temperature during printing. If the temperature of the thermal head (15) is higher than the upper-limit temperature, a printing suspending unit (47) suspends the printing being performed.
