Abstract:
This printed material sequentially comprises a recording medium, a colorant layer and a finely recessed and projected layer, which serves as the outermost layer, in this order. This printed material is characterized in that: the colorant layer contains a pigment; the finely recessed and projected layer contains spherical particles that have a specific average particle diameter; a plurality of the spherical particles are present in the thickness direction of the finely recessed and projected layer; the surface of the finely recessed and projected layer has projections having an average height of from 0.04 μm to 0.15 μm (inclusive); and the surface of the finely recessed and projected layer has an image sharpness C(2) of 50% or more.
