Abstract:
A printed matter identifying device identifies a printed matter that is printed by a predetermined printing device and has, on the surface thereof, at least two or more regions having different surface properties. The printed matter identifying device comprises: an image reading unit for controlling an external light source and an external camera and capturing, by the camera, a reflected image reflected on a surface region of the printed matter by the light source to obtain the image information of the reflected image; an image processing unit for performing image processing on the information of the reflected image obtained by the image reading unit; and an image determination unit for, by using a difference value of the image information of the reflected image on which the image processing is performed by the image processing unit, determining whether the printed matter is a printed matter printed by the predetermined printing device or not.
