Abstract:
A printer cleaning device is equipped with: a solvent-supplying nozzle (34) for supplying a solvent obtained from a surfactant to an ink roller group (21) comprising multiple ink rollers for receiving ink from an ink fountain (18a) and delivering same to a plate cylinder (17); first and second cleaning liquid-supplying nozzles (35, 36) for supplying a first or second cleaning liquid obtained from a volatile organic solvent to the ink roller group (21); and a doctor blade (33), which is configured so that the leading edge can oppose and contact and can retract from the ink rollers and, when the leading edge is in the ink roller-opposing and -contacting position, is for scraping and collecting ink, solvent and first or second cleaning liquid from the ink roller group (21). The present invention provides a printer cleaning device that is capable of shortening cleaning time without increasing the volume of cleaning solvent supplied and of improving work efficiency by efficient cleaning.
