Abstract:
In order to use a final printing sheet (PS) completely to the end (SE) and keep the final printing sheet from falling after printing of the printing sheet, provided is a printer (1) wherein when the end of the final printing sheet of a roll paper (RP) is detected, the printer is stopped so as to position the downstream side of the end of the final printing sheet in the conveyance direction at a gripping position (NA) at which a thermal head (15) and a platen roller (14) grip the printing sheet.
