Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a printer for which the work involved in assembly during manufacturing is improved, and in which even if an upper unit of the printer is opened and closed in a plurality of directions, disconnection as a result of pinching, stretching, and the like of wiring caused by the opening and closing of said upper unit is prevented. [Solution] A printer in which a sheet is conveyed between an upper unit and a lower unit in order to carry out printing, said printer comprising a hinge section that connects the upper unit and the lower unit, and wiring that connects the upper unit and the lower unit. The printer has a connector that is positioned in the vicinity of the hinge, and this connector is used to detachably connect the wiring.
