Abstract:

In a printer according to an embodiment of the present application, a functional unit (Y) is configured by providing an opening/closing cover (3), a platen roller (10), a thermal head (28), a control board unit (40), and a battery accommodation unit (33) to a frame (F) that has a paper accommodation section that accommodates a roll of continuous paper formed therein. The functional unit (Y) is accommodated in a main body case, the opening/closing cover (3) is configured so as to be capable of opening and closing, and a front cover (5) that protects the functional unit (Y) in conjunction with the main body case (2) is fixed to the main body case (2).
