Abstract:
The respective outside surfaces of a pair of support members that configure a peeling unit are provided with plate springs. The printer is configured so that closing an opening-closing cover with the pressing pieces of the opening-closing cover pressing on the plate springs of the peeling unit during peel-printing fixes the peeling unit in the peel-printing position and biases the nip roller of the peeling unit towards the platen roller by the action of the plate springs. Because the plate springs can be pressed by the pressing pieces of the opening-closing cover, it is possible to eliminate plate spring-pressing members.
