Abstract:
In a printer of the present invention for printing onto a label, a cutter for cutting a printed continuous label body is provided at a position withdrawn further to the interior than a surface of an exterior case of the printer. A detachment sensor is provided between the cutter and a thermal head. A paper detection sensor is provided to a downstream side of a printing conveyance direction of the cutter. Each of the sensors is mounted onto a shared wiring board in a two-stage state. The wiring board is provided in a vertical orientation along the printing conveyance direction of the continuous label body, within a range of an installation area for a cover open button for opening an opening and closing cover of the printer.
